WHY DESIGN YOU WONDER?
Growing up in a small village on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, I learned early the power of creativity and imagination. While other kids might have been pacified with toys, my parents only had to give me a pen and paper to stop my tears and spark my curiosity. That simple gift planted the seed for my lifelong passion: using design to tell stories, solve problems, and connect people.
Now based in Seattle, I blend that humble beginning with studies in Informatics and Psychology at the University of Washington, exploring where human emotion and data-driven design meet. My work at Delta Dental, Google, and Januity Health reflects this blend—crafting experiences that are intuitive, empathetic, and built to last.
I thrive on unpacking complexity, bridging diverse teams, and creating systems and products that make life easier and more meaningful. Design for me has always been more than visuals; it’s about connection, presence, and impact.
Beyond the screen, I recharge by crafting fragrances, singing, roaming around badminton and pickleball courts, or losing myself in a new thriller series.
I am currently a founding designer for a startup my friends and I started, as well as building my own fragrance label, and actively playing pickleball.
